The Design-Build process
You’ll have a single point of contact with our company, because we have all the specialists necessary to execute your remodel right here under one roof. Our designer will consult you first and get an idea what vision is for project; this goal is then committed to sketches which serve as the base document for our contractors and construction professionals.
You’ll be able to work with our team on a daily basis and make sure that we are still meeting all of your objectives. We’ll be there at every step of our process so if any adjustments are needed they can easily happen right away rather than trying do make changes after-the fact! Another huge benefit to our approach is having professionals involved in one team working together towards a common goal – which means better communication between everyone involved.
When individuals are working on a project, it can be easy to start pointing fingers when anything goes wrong. When pros come together as a team, mishaps or accidents are less likely to happen because they’re in constant communication, keeping each other updated. When mishaps or accidents occur, it’s you the homeowner who loses out. It might even result in litigation at its worst, with a significant loss of time as the mildest result.
How our process works
Here’s a brief overview of how our design-build process works, and why it can be so effective at managing your remodeling project:
- Pre-Design phase – our team will consult with you to gain a complete understanding of what you’re trying to achieve. You’ll have conversations with our expert designer about the specific changes you want to make, and you’ll find out whether or not they’re feasible and cost-effective. At the conclusion of this phase, you’ll receive a document outlining the work to be done, as well as a cost estimate for all work and materials.
- Design phase – All work to be done will be committed to paper, so there is a base document that can be used during construction. This document will be given to you, and at this time you can make selections for finishing, e.g. cabinetry, countertops, flooring, and trim.
- Construction phase – this is where the actual work commences, and you’ll start to see your vision translated into reality. If anything needs to be modified during this phase, you will of course have total control in having that done.
- Post-work inspection – when all work has been completed, we’ll review everything with you to make sure it has been done to your complete satisfaction. We don’t consider the job complete until you are totally satisfied with all aspects of our work.
