The Design-Build process

With Cre-Attic’s remodeling service, you’ll have a single point of contact for all three parties involved with your project. The designer will consult with you first to get an idea what type or style it is that you would like the finished product too look like. With that, sketches can then be used as the base document by our contractors and specialists.

When you work with us, we’ll be constantly consulting and modifying your project so that it aligns perfectly to meet all your objectives. How our process works

Here’s a brief overview of how our design-build process works, and why it can be so effective at managing your remodeling project:

• Pre-Design phase – our team will consult with you to gain a complete understanding of what you’re trying to achieve. You’ll have conversations with our expert designer about the specific changes you want to make, and you’ll find out whether or not they’re feasible and cost-effective. At the conclusion of this phase, you’ll receive a document outlining the work to be done, as well as a cost estimate for all work and materials.
• Design phase – All work to be done will be committed to paper, so there is a base document that can be used during construction. This document will be given to you, and at this time you can make selections for finishing, e.g. cabinetry, countertops, flooring, and trim.
• Construction phase – this is where the actual work commences, and you’ll start to see your vision translated into reality. If anything needs to be modified during this phase, you will of course have total control in having that done.
• Post-work inspection – when all work has been completed, we’ll review everything with you to make sure it has been done to your complete satisfaction. We don’t consider the job complete until you are totally satisfied with all aspects of our work.
